THE ARGOS FOUNDATION, INC.
 

Welcome to the Argos Foundation Website, which is currently under construction. The Argos Foundation, Inc., is a Florida not-for-profit corporation, which operates within the IRS guidelines for 501(c)(3) organizations. Established in 2003 as an initiative of the CLS Group of Companies, the Argos Foundation was incorporated in March 2004. The mission of the Foundation is to enhance and expand the use of satellite-based and wireless technologies in support of a wide variety of applications around the world. Currently, the Foundation has four main categories within which its efforts are focused, including:

• Educational applications and Academic-Based Programs
• Environmental Protection applications
• Humanitarian applications
• Peace & Security applications

A number of specific programs and projects are underway or in the development stage. The Foundation has numerous outside partners and contributors including Governmental organizations, universities, and corporations from the private sector. In particular, the Foundation works closely with certain space technology organizations within the State of Florida, including the Florida Aerospace Finance Corporation, the Florida Space Authority, and the Florida Space Research Institute. We expect to have a more descriptive and fully-functional Website available by the end of 2004. Please check back at that time, or contact us directly for further information.
